Es perenne, con hojas dispuestas en roseta y con filos en punta, y de flores peque\u00f1as y agrupadas, de color blanco o rosado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A nivel medicinal, la parte que se utiliza de esta planta es la ra\u00edz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Propiedades y beneficios de la Valeriana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Valeriana se conoce y emplea desde la antig\u00fcedad, pero no es hasta el siglo XVIII que se demuestran sus efectos sedantes nerviosos.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto es debido a su composici\u00f3n. La ra\u00edz  contiene flavonoides, glutamina, arginina, alcaloides, triterpenos y antioxidantes como la hesperidina y la linarina.
