En lo que respecta al fruto, la ciruela es una drupa, un fruto carnoso y redondeado, con un surco longitudinal. Presenta una \u00fanica semilla en su interior, protegida por una cubierta le\u00f1osa, denominada endocarpio. Las ciruelas pueden ser de diversos colores o sabores, como amarillas, verdes o p\u00farpuras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El ciruelo es un \u00e1rbol que vive en regiones temperadas.
