Llevamos varios d\u00edas con <strong>altas temperaturas<\/strong> que afectan a nuestra <strong>salud<\/strong> en muchos sentidos, nuestro <strong>sue\u00f1o<\/strong> empeora, nos sentimos m\u00e1s fatigados, necesitamos beber m\u00e1s y nuestras <strong>piernas<\/strong> se hinchan, est\u00e1n cansadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si bien el s\u00edndrome de <strong>piernas cansadas<\/strong> se sufre durante todo el a\u00f1o, es en verano cuando la <strong>insuficiencia venosa<\/strong>, que es como se llama esta patolog\u00eda, empeora, manifest\u00e1ndose principalmente con sensaci\u00f3n de piernas cansadas, parece que hemos corrido una marat\u00f3n, hay <strong>pesadez<\/strong>, <strong>dolor<\/strong>, <strong>picor<\/strong>, <strong>tirantez<\/strong>, <strong>hormigueo<\/strong>, los <strong>pies<\/strong> y <strong>tobillos<\/strong> se hinchan e incluso pueden aparecer <strong>ara\u00f1as vasculares<\/strong> y <strong>varices<\/strong>. Se trata de una patolog\u00eda que sufre 1 de cada 4 personas, siendo m\u00e1s del doble frecuente en <strong>mujeres<\/strong> que en <strong>hombres<\/strong> y empeorando en ciertas \u00e9pocas como durante el <strong>embarazo<\/strong> y la <strong>menopausia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las piernas se cansan porque existe un problema en el retorno de la <strong>sangre<\/strong> desde las <strong>piernas<\/strong> al <strong>coraz\u00f3n<\/strong>. Esto se debe a la combinaci\u00f3n de diferentes factores que van desde la predisposici\u00f3n <strong>gen\u00e9tica<\/strong>, las <strong>hormonas<\/strong> (de ah\u00ed que haya m\u00e1s casos en mujeres que en hombres), la falta de <strong>actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong>, permanecer mucho tiempo de pie o sentado, ropa o calzado muy ajustado, una <strong>dieta<\/strong> inadecuada, el calor, el <strong>sobrepeso<\/strong>&#8230; El coraz\u00f3n bombea sangre rica en <strong>ox\u00edgeno<\/strong> y <strong>nutrientes<\/strong> a todas las partes del <strong>cuerpo<\/strong> y esa sangre debe volver al coraz\u00f3n con las sustancias de desecho recogidas en esos lugares. Cuando las <strong>venas<\/strong> pierden elasticidad y se dilatan, y las v\u00e1lvulas del interior de las venas que impiden que la sangre vuelva hacia atr\u00e1s, no funcionan correctamente, aparece el <strong>s\u00edndrome de piernas cansadas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las personas que sufren de <strong>piernas cansadas<\/strong> empeoran en verano debido a que el <strong>calor<\/strong> favorece la dilataci\u00f3n de las venas dificult\u00e1ndose a\u00fan m\u00e1s, el retorno venoso. Terminar la ducha diaria aplicando <strong>agua fr\u00eda<\/strong> de abajo a arriba aporta sensaci\u00f3n de <strong>descanso<\/strong> y ligereza y si adem\u00e1s, utilizas un <strong>gel con efecto refrescante<\/strong> y rico en sustancias naturales como <strong>rusco<\/strong>, <strong>cedro<\/strong> y <strong>menta<\/strong>, la sensaci\u00f3n de descanso se ve potenciada. Apl\u00edcalo a trav\u00e9s de un <strong>masaje en sentido ascendente<\/strong>, comenzando en la planta del pie y subiendo hasta el muslo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Controlar el <strong>sobrepeso<\/strong> es fundamental ya que influye en gran medida en la aparici\u00f3n y empeoramiento del s\u00edndrome de piernas cansadas. Existe una relaci\u00f3n directa entre la salud vascular y el sobrepeso. Este exceso de peso, \u201cpesa\u201d, generando una presi\u00f3n constante en las venas de las piernas, favoreciendo la dilataci\u00f3n de las mismas y por tanto, dificultando un correcto retorno venoso. Adem\u00e1s, las personas con sobrepeso tienen mayor tendencia a <strong>retener l\u00edquidos<\/strong> a nivel de tobillos y pantorrillas que promueve la aparici\u00f3n de edema, hinchaz\u00f3n y tirantez. Una dieta equilibrada rica en <strong>frutas<\/strong> y <strong>verduras<\/strong> que aporten <strong>flavonoides<\/strong>, indispensables para la buena salud de nuestras piernas, <strong>reducir<\/strong> <strong>el consumo de sal<\/strong>, <strong>beber al menos 2 litros de agua al d\u00eda<\/strong> y aumentar la <strong>actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong>, ayudar\u00e1n a reducir el <strong>exceso de peso<\/strong> y a mejorar la <strong>salud de las piernas<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otras medidas a tener en cuenta, adem\u00e1s de contrarrestar el calor y controlar el sobrepeso, pueden ser:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Evita estar mucho tiempo en la misma posici\u00f3n, de pie o sentados, haciendo descansos cada 45 minutos, <strong>caminando<\/strong>, alternando el peso entre un pie y otro, moviendo los tobillos y elevando las piernas tantas veces como podamos.<\/li><li>Controla el <strong>estre\u00f1imiento<\/strong> introduciendo alimentos ricos en fibra y aumentando el consumo de agua.<\/li><li>Limita el uso de prendas ajustadas, como pantalones y fajas, que dificultan el retorno venoso y utiliza sin embargo, medias de compresi\u00f3n graduada que oprimen m\u00e1s en los tobillos y cuya presi\u00f3n va disminuyendo a medida que va hacia el muslo, ayudando de esta manera a la sangre en su camino hacia el coraz\u00f3n.<\/li><li><strong>Camina<\/strong>, camina, camina. Cuando caminamos se activan varios sistemas que favorecen una correcta circulaci\u00f3n de retorno, como la bomba muscular de las pantorrillas y la bomba plantar.<\/li><li>Incorpora a tu dieta <strong>complementos alimenticios<\/strong> con <strong>rusco<\/strong>, <strong>casta\u00f1o de indias<\/strong> o <strong>meliloto<\/strong>, ricos en <strong>flavonoides<\/strong>, <strong>antocianidinas<\/strong> y <strong>cumarinas<\/strong>, que reforzar\u00e1n la pared y la salud de las v\u00e1lvulas de las venas, mejorar\u00e1n el retorno venoso evitando el estancamiento de sangre en los tobillos y favorecer\u00e1n la ansiada sensaci\u00f3n de descanso.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Si bien la <strong>insuficiencia venosa<\/strong> no tiene por qu\u00e9 ser grave, la <strong>calidad de vida<\/strong> de las personas que la sufren se ve notablemente empeorada. Te recomiendo que pongas en pr\u00e1ctica estos <strong>consejos<\/strong> y ya ver\u00e1s como llevar\u00e1s el <strong>verano<\/strong> mucho mejor.
