De ellos, al menos un 10% se debe a<strong> trastornos del sue\u00f1o<\/strong>.<span style=\"color: #00a5c7;\"><a style=\"color: #00a5c7;\" href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/p><p>Desde<strong> Ysana<\/strong> nos preocupamos por tu salud. Con motivo del <strong>D\u00eda Mundial del Sue\u00f1o <\/strong>(18 de marzo), te explicamos la importancia de dormir bien, los distintos trastornos del sue\u00f1o que existen y c\u00f3mo puedes prevenirlos y combatirlos.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #00a5c7;\"><strong>La importancia de dormir bien<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p>A lo largo del d\u00eda el organismo debe hacer frente a las exigencias que el entorno genera, por ejemplo, debiendo regular m\u00e1s la temperatura, haciendo esfuerzos f\u00edsicos, la digesti\u00f3n etc. Durante el sue\u00f1o, como el organismo ya no precisa derivar la energ\u00eda a estos procesos, se centra en importantes procesos de restauraci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Mientras dormimos se dan funciones tales como:<\/p><ul><li>Reparaci\u00f3n y fortalecimiento del sistema inmune y del m\u00fasculo-esquel\u00e9tico.<\/li><li>Restablecimiento de la energ\u00eda.<\/li><li>Fortalecimiento de las conexiones neuronales, que mejora la memoria y el aprendizaje.<\/li><\/ul><h2><span style=\"color: #00a5c7;\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los trastornos del sue\u00f1o?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p>Se denomina trastorno del sue\u00f1o a cualquier problema para conseguir un sue\u00f1o mantenido y de calidad, en que se puedan dar los procesos anteriores.<\/p><p>Estos pueden incluir dificultades para conciliar el sue\u00f1o o permanecer dormido, dormirse en momentos inapropiados, dormir en exceso o sufrir conductas o eventos anormales durante el sue\u00f1o.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #00a5c7;\"><strong>Trastornos del sue\u00f1o: Tipos y formas<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p>Teniendo en cuenta la anterior definici\u00f3n, algunos de los trastornos del sue\u00f1o m\u00e1s comunes son:<\/p><h3><strong>Insomnio<\/strong><\/h3><p>El insomnio es el trastorno del sue\u00f1o m\u00e1s com\u00fan. Dependiendo de c\u00f3mo afecte al sue\u00f1o puede ser de conciliaci\u00f3n (quedarse dormido) o de mantenimiento (mantenerse dormido). Asimismo, puede ser temporal o cr\u00f3nico.<\/p><h3><strong>Apnea del sue\u00f1o<\/strong><\/h3><p>Tambi\u00e9n denominada \u201cpar\u00e1lisis del sue\u00f1o\u201d. Este trastorno se produce en la fase de transici\u00f3n entre el estado de vigilia y el estado de sue\u00f1o. Mientras dormimos el cuerpo reduce e incluso bloquea el movimiento (aton\u00eda muscular), por lo que en estos casos, la conciencia de la persona puede despertar pero esta no ser capaz de hablar ni moverse.<\/p><h3><strong>Narcolepsia<\/strong><\/h3><p>La narcolepsia es un trastorno del sue\u00f1o cr\u00f3nico que se caracteriza por presentar una extrema somnolencia durante el d\u00eda y ataques repentinos e inapropiados de sue\u00f1o. Tambi\u00e9n se da una gran dificultad para mantenerse despierto por largo tiempo. Este problema puede condicionar gravemente el d\u00eda a d\u00eda de las personas que la padecen.<\/p><h3><strong>Parasomnias<\/strong><\/h3><p>Las parasomnias hacen referencia a todas aquellas acciones anormales que se dan durante el sue\u00f1o, como el sonambulismo, el s\u00edndrome de piernas inquietas, los terrores nocturnos, el bruxismo, hablar en sue\u00f1os o la enuresis (micci\u00f3n nocturna involuntaria).<\/p><h3><strong>Jet Lag y otras alteraciones del ritmo circadianos<\/strong><\/h3><p>Los ritmos circadianos son cambios f\u00edsicos, mentales y conductuales que siguen un ciclo de 24 horas y se rigen por el ciclo luz-oscuridad. Estos problemas se dan cuando las situaciones externas (turnos rotativos, viajes) generan un desajuste o un desfase entre las condiciones ex\u00f3genas y el ritmo corporal.<\/p><h2><span style=\"color: #00a5c7;\"><strong>Trastornos del sue\u00f1o: Tratamiento y prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p>Los trastornos del sue\u00f1o pueden darse por distintos motivos.
