How it works:
A varied and balanced diet is necessary for children’s proper development. In addition, it is very important to acquire good eating habits during childhood, which is a stage in which the body experiences rapid growth. There are many potential causes that can bring about a lack of appetite in children. Among them we can find convalescence, stressful situations (such as changes in school stages or the general environment), changes in routines, and/or bad eating habits. Trying to solve this situation involves many consultations with pharmacists and pediatricians by families.
Apetyds is indicated to help promote appetite when taken just once a day — thanks to its cinchona content, surpassing 8% alkaloids. High-quality pollen, honey, and royal jelly (titrated at >4% 10-hydroxydecenoic acid) are natural sources of vitamins, minerals, and proteins that help provide a balanced nutritional intake in periods of lack of appetite or in states of nutrient deficiency.
The glycemic index (GI) is based on the body’s response to glucose after consuming carbohydrates, compared to the response to a glucose solution. Apetyds syrup has a base made up of carob and apple extract, which has a complex composition of carbohydrates such as fructose, glucose, inositols (non-laxative polyols), and soluble fiber, providing a lower glycemic index (41-42) in comparison with glucose (100). This allows the syrup to be more suitable for prolonged use.
